About Laubach Red Angus |
We started adding registered Red Angus to our commercial herd in 1997. Our first
females were purchased from Green Mountain Red Angus and Redland Red Angus.
In 2006 we then purchased Tea Pot
Red Angus dispersion. We have also bought selected females from NILE, Bet on
Red, and production sales. This brings us to calving 200 registered females along
with our commercial cattle.
We have always selected for an easy keeping and high maternal female. Our herd sires are selected
for moderate birth, high maternal and high carcass characteristics. Our cattle are known for their
gentle dispositions.
We synchronize and AI all yearling heifers, heat detect and AI cows approximately one cycle, then
breed naturally with herd sires purchased from reputable breeders from Montana, North Dakota, and
Nebraska.
Our opening day private treaty sale is the 3rd Saturday of November. Selling heifer calves, bred
heifers and bull calves. After this date the bulls are offered on a first come first serve basis.
We strive for customer satisfaction and will stand behind our cattle.
